As a result, she terminated her contract with Avex Inc. and she stepped down from her roles as Aya Maruyama in BanG Dream! and Ibuki Niijima in D4DJ. On September 1, 2023, Ami had announced that she had recovered, and that she would return to all her entertainment activities, returning to voice Aya Maruyama.
