Synopsis

In the near future, the nation once known as Japan has been divided and jointly ruled by China and Russia. Behind the scenes, China develops a top-secret bioweapon known as the “Wōrō” (War Wolf)—engineered to counter Russian forces. But when forty-nine experimental subjects escape and barricade themselves inside a demilitarized neutral zone between the two countries, the project spirals into chaos. As China attempts to erase all evidence and Russia moves in to capture and study them, the fugitive Wolves fight desperately for their survival.
